SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

(Senate Bill 180)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
346 of Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Carroll County", sub-
title "State's Attorney", as said section was amended by
Chapter 65 of the Acts of 1933, increasing the salary of
the State's Attorney for Carroll County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 346 of Article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Car-
roll County", sub-title "State's Attorney", as said section
was amended by Chapter 65 of the Acts of 1933, be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
346. The State's Attorney for Carroll County shall re-
ceive a salary of two thousand four hundred dollars for
the year 1947 and each year thereafter, which shall
be annually levied by the County Commissioners of said
county, and paid to him in monthly instalments from the
first Monday of January, 1947; said salary to be
in full compensation for all services of the State's Attorney
required by law to be paid by the County Commissioners
of said county.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
