ter 224 of the Acts of 1941, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

100.

(Dorchester County. ) There shall be two trial magis-
trates, one of whom shall sit at Cambridge and shall receive
an annual salary of $2, 100. 00. The said magis-
trate sitting at Cambridge shall appoint a clerk, who shall
receive an annual salary to be fixed by the County
Commissioners, but not exceeding $1, 500. 00, payable
monthly, the said salary to be paid by the County Commis-
sioners of Dorchester County. The other trial magistrate
shall sit at Hurlock and hold sessions on at least three days
in each week and shall receive an annual salary of $500. 00.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 959.
(Senate Bill 610)

AN ACT to declare the sanction and consent of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland to sundry gifts, bequests
and devises contained in the Last Wills and Testaments
of certain persons, deceased, and also to certain gifts,
grants, sales, leases and deeds made by various persons
to and for the use and benefit of sundry ministerial per-
sons, religious corporations, vestries, educational and
charitable institutions, churches, denominations or sects
hereinafter named.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction and consent of said General
Assembly of Maryland be and the same is hereby declared,
given and granted to the following gifts, bequests, devises,
grants, sales, leases, conveyances and deeds, to and from
certain persons and bodies corporate to and for the use of
certain ministerial persons, religious and educational cor-
porations, orders, denominations and sects, and to certain
charitable institutions hereinafter named and hereinafter
set forth.

1. To the bequest contained in Item Three of the Last
Will and testament of the Right Reverend Charles Fiske,
