CHAPTER 949.
(Senate Bill 592)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 185-197 of Article 20 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Somerset County, " sub-title "Fences, " said sec-
tions relating to the maintenance of joint fences in cer-
tain election districts.
•'

Whereas, the provisions of these sections seem to be no
longer necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 185-197 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset
County, " sub-title "Fences, " be and they are hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.

CHAPTER 950.
(Senate Bill 593)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Code of
Public General Laws of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "General Regulations,
Restriction Upon Retail Dealers'', said new section to be
known as Section 34B and to follow immediately after
Section 34A of said Article, relating to possession and
•consumption of alcoholic beverages on licensed premises,
in Anne Arundel County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 2B
of the Code of Public General Laws of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "General
Regulations, Restrictions Upon Retail Dealers", said new
section to be known as Section 34B and to follow imme-
diately after Section 34A of said Article, and to read as
follows:

34B. It shall be unlawful for any person to -drink, dis-
play, or be in possession of, on the licensed premises of
