CHAPTER 939.
(Senate Bill 582)

AN ACT to repeal Section 241 of Article 20 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County", sub-title "Officers Fees", said section
relating to the collection of fees of officers in Somerset
County.

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section are no longer
necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 241 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title ''Somerset County",
sub-title "Officers Fees", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30? 1943.

CHAPTER 940.
(Senate Bill 583)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 220 to 228C of the Article 20 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Somerset County", sub-title "Liquor and
Intoxicating Drinks", said sections prohibiting the sale
of certain intoxicating drinks in Somerset County.

WHEREAS, the present general laws of the State relating
to the sale of alcoholic beverages seem to make these sec-
tions unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 220 to 228C of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Som-
erset County", sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks",
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.
