"Garrett County", sub-title "Circuit Court", to follow
immediately after Section 51 of said Article, and to be
known as Section 51-A, providing for payment by the
County Commissioners of the cost of augmentation and
maintenance of the Circuit Court Library.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section be and it is hereby added to Article 12
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Garrett County", sub-title "Circuit Court", to
follow immediately after Section 51 of said Article, and
to be known as Section 51-A, and to read as follows:

51-A. The County Commissioners of Garrett County
are hereby authorized and directed to pay to the Clerk of
the Court, to be expended under the direction of the Judges
of said Court for the augmentation, maintenance and up-
keep of the library of said Court the sum of Five Hundred
Dollars ($500. 00) for the year 1943, and annually there-
after such sums of money as said Judges may from time
to time request for the purpose aforesaid; such last named
sums in the aggregate not to exceed in any one year the
sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00). Provided, how-
ever, that such last named payments shall be made only in
the event the amounts received by said Clerk for the afore-
said purposes from fines and forfeitures shall be insuffi-
cient for said purposes.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 213 and 214 of Article 9 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Charles County", sub-title "Officers' Fees",
said section relating to the form of accounts to be kept
for officers' fees.

WHEREAS, The provisions of these sections are no longer
applicable; therefore
