said sections authorizing Calvert County to subscribe to
shares of stock in a certain Railroad Company.

WHEREAS, The provisions of these sections are no longer
applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 234-243, inclusive, of Article 5 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Calvert County", sub-title "Railroads", be and they are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 900.
(Senate Bill 534)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 176 and 177 of Article 5 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Calvert County", sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicat-
ing Drinks", said sections making it unlawful to sell any
intoxicating or malt liquor in Calvert County.

WHEREAS, The laws relating to Alcoholic Beverages have
superseded the provisions of this section; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 176 and 177 of Article 5 of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Calvert
County", sub-title "Liquor and Intoxicating Drinks", be
; and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.
