13. Every keeper of a pool or billiard room or bowling
alley within Carroll County shall keep the same closed
continuously from twelve o'clock midnight until seven
o'clock in the morning of every day and throughout the
first day of the week, commonly called Sunday.

14. Any person violating any of the provisions of the
preceding section shall, upon conviction thereof before any
Trial Magistrate or before the Circuit Court for Carroll
County, be subject to a fine of not more than Fifty Dollars
($50. 00) for each offense. :

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 881.
(Senate Bill 508)

AN ACT to repeal Section 257A of Article 21 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Talbot County, " sub-title "Fireworks, " said section re-
lating to the discharge of fireworks on Tilghman's Island.

Whereas, there is now a State-wide law prohibiting the
sale or discharge of fireworks, thereby rendering the pro-
visions of this section unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 257A of Article 21 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot County, "
sub-title "Fireworks, " be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
