he shall see that the ordinances of the town are faithfully
executed and shall report to the council at its first meeting
each year the condition of municipal affairs; he shall have
the power of vetoing any ordinances, as hereinafter pro-
vided in Section 335. From and after the General Elec-
tion on the Fourth Tuesday in March, 1945, he. shall re-
ceive an annual salary of Three Thousand Six Hundred
($3, 600. 00) Dollars, provided that the duly qualified Mayor
serving until said election in 1945, shall receive, in addition
to his present salary the sum of $100. 00 per month as an
expense account, and no other fee or compensation what-
soever.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission to name a
certain road in the Tenth Election District of Worcester
County the Sinepuxent Road, and relating to the taking over
and maintaining of said road byvthe said Commission; and to
repeal Chapter 819 of the Acts of 1941.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 423-424, inclusive, of Article 6
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Caroline County'', sub-title "Officers'
Fees", said sections relating to the manner of keeping
accounts for officers' fees.
Whereas, the provisions of these sections are no longer
necessary or applicable; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 423-424, inclusive, of Article 6
