CHAPTER 859.
(Senate Bill 473)

AN ACT to repeal Section 424 of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Wye Camp Ground, "
said Section relating to disorderly conduct on the Wye
Camp Ground in Queen Anne's County.

Whereas, the Wye Camp Ground is no longer maintained,
thereby rendering this section unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 424 of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Wye Camp Ground, "
be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.

CHAPTER 860.
(Senate Bill 474)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
232A of Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Washington County, "
sub-title "Hagerstown, " as said section was amended by
Chapter 669 of the Acts of 1939, relating to the com-
pensation of the Mayor and an allowance to the Mayor
of an expense account.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 232A of Article 22 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Washington County, " sub-title "Hagerstown, " as said
section was amended by Chapter 669 of the Acts of 1939,
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:

232A. The Mayor, by virtue of his office, shall preside
at all meetings of the Council and in case of a tie, except
in the passage of ordinances, shall have the deciding vote;
