CHAPTER 855.
(Senate Bill 468)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 315 and 316 of Article 18 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Out-
Pensioners, " said Sections relating to the payments to
be made to certain indigent persons in Queen Anne's
County.

Whereas, the provisions of these Sections are no longer
necessary or applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 315 and 316 of Article 18 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Out-Pensioners, "
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.

CHAPTER 856.
(Senate Bill 470)

AN ACT to repeal Section 416 of Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Thistles, " said Sec-
tion making it unlawful for any person in Queen Anne's
County to permit the weed known as "The Canada This-
tle" to grow on their lands.

Whereas, the provisions of this Section are no longer
necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 416 of Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Queen Anne's County, " sub-title "Thistle, " be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
