SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 824.
(Senate Bill 428)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 545-551, inclusive, of Article
6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Caroline County", sub-title "Schools",
said sections relating to the Board of School Commis-
sioners and certain schools in Caroline County.

WHEREAS, the state law relating to schools has super-
seded the provisions of these sections, thereby rendering
them unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 545-551, inclusive, of Article 6 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Caroline County", sub-title "Schools", be -and they
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

Approved April 30, 1943.

CHAPTER 825.
(Senate Bill 429)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 235, 236 and 237 of Article 6 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition, ), title "Caroline
County", sub-title "Fire Companies", as said sections
were amended by Chapter 79 of the Acts of 1941, in-
creasing the levy for fire companies in Caroline County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 235, 236 and 237 of Article 6 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Caroline County", sub-title "Fire Companies",
