sion shall have been made for the deductions here-
inbefore enumerated, the State Roads Commission
shall receive Thirty Percent (30%) of the net
proceeds of the 100% for the use of Baltimore
Gity, to be used and applied in the construction
and maintenance of streets, highways, and bridges
and other related construction projects as may be
performed within the corporata limits of Baltimore
City and/or applied to existing highway bond debt
service. The remaining Seventy Percent (70%) of
the net product of the aforesaid revenue shall be
received and administered by the1 State Roads
Commission and by it apportioned in the same
manner and according - to the same formula and
ratios as heretofore used (being that formula and
*ratio used at January 1, 1942, the basis of which
is the road mile'age in each of the respective coun-
ties), to the use of the twenty-three (23) counties,
and expended by the Commission for the construc-
tion, reconstruction and/or maintenance of the
County System of Roads. In the1 event the General
Asssembly, at the 1943 Session does not pass an
Act modifying the provisions of Chapter 888, of
the Acts of 19.41, and by such Act does thereby
authorize and permit the entire share of the tax
allotted to the1 Counties to be used solely for main-
tenance of the County System of Roads, then ^such
respective amounts appropriated and apportioned
to the Counties shall be applied in accordance with
the provisions of such an Act so to be passed;
otherwise, the funds appropriated to the Counties
shall be administered in accordance with the pro-
visions of Chapter 888, of the Acts of 1941.

To Baltimore City, for the construction of streets,
highways, and bridges, and other related construc-
tion projects within the corporate limits of Balti-
more Gity, unde'r the supervision of the State Roads
Commission; for the purpose of reimbursing the

Mayor and City Council of Baltimore for mainte- ;
nance of streets within the corporate limits of
Baltimore City, such reimbursements to be made

from this appropriation to Baltimore City upon the ......-

presentation of proper vouchers showing the loca- .. ...
