WHEREAS, the provisions of this section, relating to Build-
ing or Homestead Associations, are more comprehensively
covered by Section 164 of Article 23 of the Code and are no
longer necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 170 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-title
"Building or Homestead Associations", be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved February 12, 1943.

CHAPTER 13.

(Senate Bill 10)

AN ACT to repeal Section 295 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-
title "Telegraph and Telephone Companies".

WHEREAS, the provisions of this section are now fully
covered by the provisions of Section 38 of this Article; there-
fore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 295 of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-title "Tele-
graph and Telephone Companies", be and it is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1943.

Approved February 12, 1943.

CHAPTER 14.

(Senate Bill 11)

AN ACT to repeal Section 180 of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Corporations",
sub-title "Gas and Electric Light Companies".
