Whereas, the general laws of the State make provision
for the payment of jurors, thereby making these sections
unnecessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 140 and 141 of Article 7, of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Carroll County", sub-title "Jurors", be and they are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 113.
(Senate Bill 120)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 302-308, inclusive, of Article 7
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Carroll County", sub-title "Prison
Labor".

Whereas, it is not practical to apply the provisions of
these sections at the present time; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 302-308, inclusive, of Article 7
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Carroll County", sub-title "Prison Labor",
be and they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.
