"Carroll County", sub-title "Roads", said section relating
to Road Commissioners for the several Road Districts.

Whereas, under the present Road Laws, the provisions
of this section are no longer necessary; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 326 of Article 7 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Carroll County", sub-title "Roads", be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1943.

CHAPTER 109.
(Senate Bill 115)

AN ACT to authorize the Burgess and Commissioners of
New Windsor to borrow on the credit of said town a sum
not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20, 000) for the
purpose of extending and enlarging the water system
and supply for said town, to secure the repayment of the
sum so borrowed by the issuance of the bonds of said
town, and to provide for the payment of the principal
and interest of such bonds, and to authorize a special
tax for such payment.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 556 and 557 of Article 7 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Carroll County", sub-title "Witnesses", said
sections relating to the payment of witnesses.

Whereas, the general laws of the State make provision
for payment of witnesses, thereby making the provisions
of these sections unnecessary; therefore
