ten permit to so do.

FISH HATCHERIES.

110. The Game and Inland Fish Commission is authorized
and empowered to erect and maintain suitable fish hatcheries,
nurseries, ponds, and rearing stations for propagation pur-
poses and for stocking the streams with game and fresh water
fish, such hatcheries to be maintained out of any funds derived
from the sale of anglers licenses.

LIMITATIONS.

111. Nothing in this Act shall be considered in any manner
as changing, modifying or enlarging any of the terms of the
lease from the Eastern Land Corporation and the Pennsyl-
vania Electric Company to the State of Maryland for the use
of the Game and Inland Fish Commission of the area of Deep
Creek Lake, nor to affect in any manner the rights, privileges,
and reservations of the lessors therein.

112. PENALTIES. Any person apprehended for violation
of any section of this Article and where a penalty is imposed
shall stand committed to jail of Baltimore City or to the jail
of any of the counties of this State. until such fine and costs
are paid, however, such sentence shall not exceed one day for
each dollar so imposed.

113. TRANSMISSION OF FINES BY COURTS OF JUSTICE. Any
Justice of the Peace or Court who shall impose a fine on any
person for violating any of the provisions of this Article and
said fine is collected by said Justice of the Peace or Court shall
transmit the fine or fines to the Game Warden the first of each
and every month after said sentence has been imposed and
fine collected, and shall be paid to the State Comptroller and
credited to the State Game Protection Fund.

114. PENALTY FOR VIOLATION OF ARTICLE 99. Any person
found guilty for violating any of the provisions of this Article,
unless the penalty is provided in the section otherwise, shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction before
any Justice of the Peace of this State or Court shall be fined
not less than Ten Dollars ($10. 00) nor more than Fifty Dol-
lars ($50. 00) and costs for each and every offense or sentenced
to jail until said fine and costs have been paid.

115. And be It further enacted, That the provisions of this
Article shall in no manner prevent the prosecution of persons
who have been arrested for violation of the game or fish laws
existing on the statute books of this State prior to its enact-
