MESSAGE TO THE SENATE

By Mr. Pumphrey:

HOUSE OF DELEGATES

ANNAPOLIS, MD., November 10, 1950.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

The House of Delegates, pursuant to the Governor's proclamation,
has met in Special Session and having organized by the election
of Honorable C. Ferdinand Sybert, Speaker, and Raymond H.
Miller, Chief Clerk, is now ready to proceed with the business of
the session.

We respectfully propose, with your concurrence, the appoint-
ment of a joint committee of five members, three to be appointed
on the part of the House and two upon the part of the Senate, to
wait upon the Governor and inform him that the General Assembly
is now organized and prepared to receive any communications he
may desire to make. We have appointed on the part of the House,
Messrs. Preston, Tyler and Coddington.

RECESS

At 12.50 o'clock P. M., on motion of Mr. Pumphrey, the House
took a recess until 1.00 o'clock P. M.

AFTER RECESS

At 1.00 o'clock P. M. the House resumed its session.
