two Bars, all on the western side of the Chesapeake
Bay, and known as Parker's Rock. Oysters may
be taken by tongs on said Bars during the open season.
Any person violating the provisions of this section shall
be subject to the penalties provided for in Section 24 of
this Article.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1941.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, sub-
section Class L of Section 157 of Article 56 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses",
sub-title "Motor Vehicles", sub-heading "Fees for Regis-
tration of Motor Vehicles", relating to the registration
fees of motor hearses, by adding thereto, motor florist
coaches and motor service wagons.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That sub-section Class L of Section 157 of Arti-
cle 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles", sub-heading
"Fees for Registration of Motor Vehicles", be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
Class L. (Funeral Hearses, Morticians Flower Coaches
or Service Wagons). Thirty-two cents (3'2c) per horse
power or fraction thereof in the case of all motor vehicles
operated for the purpose of transporting dead bodies,
funeral flower designs or morticians equipment, for hire
on the Public Streets of this State, and said charge shall
be in lieu of all other taxes, fees or charges of every kind
upon said motor funeral hearses, morticians flower coaches
or service wagons, or upon the receipts of those operating
the same, except the taxes imposed upon the same as per-
sonal property.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
