CHAPTER 46.
(Senate Bill 11)

AN ACT to repeal Section 811 of Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1938 Edition), title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Merchandise Brokers".

WHEREAS, the provisions for the licensing of certain brokers
are obsolete and no longer applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 811 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1938 Edition), title "Baltimore City", sub-
title "Merchandise Brokers", be and the same is hereby re-
pealed.

SEC. 2. And be it -further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 47.
(Senate Bill 22)

AN ACT to repeal Article 85 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Secretary of the Senate", said
section requiring the Secretary of the Senate to be in his
office daily during the recess of the Legislature,,

WHEREAS, this article has never been made effective due to
lack of appropriation and is, therefore, obsolete; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 85 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Secretary of the Senate", be and the
same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.
