CHAPTER 44.
(Senate Bill 9)

AN ACT to repeal Section 288 of Article 56 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title
"Shoe Shining Parlors and Hat Cleaning Establishments".

WHEREAS, the above licenses produce such a small revenue
that it does not justify the trouble and effort to enforce its
provisions; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 288 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Shoe
Shining Parlors and Hat Cleaning Establishments", be and
the same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

Approved February 26, 1941.

CHAPTER 45.

(Senate Bill 10)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 776, 777 and 778 of Article 4 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1938 Edition),
title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Horse Dealers".

WHEREAS,, the provisions relating to the licensing of horse
dealers are obsolete and no longer applicable; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 776, 777 and 778 of Article 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1938 Edition), title "Bal-
timore City", sub-title "Horse Dealers", be and the same are
hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

Approved April 15, 1941.
