718B. The County Commissioners of Frederick County are
hereby authorized to appropriate annually to the Board of
Education of Frederick County, from any funds received by
Frederick County for any general County purpose and not
derived from any tax levied on real property, such sum as
the said Board of Education may request to enable it to de-
fray any costs incurred by it in carrying into effect the pro-
visions of Section 718A and to establish new bus routes, in
the discretion of the Board of Education of Frederick County,
for the transportation to and from school of children attend-
ing schools not receiving State aid. The transportation of
children to and from schools not receiving State aid shall be
upon such reasonable terms and conditions as the Board of
Education may from time to time determine, but in no event
shall the amount charged children attending such schools for
using said buses or conveyances be greater or less than the
amount charged children attending the public schools for the
same kind of transportation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
'effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 423.
(House Bill 103)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 194 of Article 56
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles", sub-heading "Brakes,
Bells, Lights and Mufflers", said new sub-section to be
known as Sub-section (3%) and to follow immediately
after Sub-section (3) of said Section 194, relating to the
dimming of lights on motor vehicles.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to Sec-
tion 194 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles",
sub-heading "Brakes, Bells, Lights and Mufflers", said new
sub-section to be known as Sub-section (3%), to follow imme-
diately after Sub-section (3) of said Section 194, and to read
as follows:

194. (B) (Dimming Lights) (a) Whenever a motor
vehicle is being operated on a roadway, or shoulder adjacent
