effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 407.
(House Bill 85)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 84
of Article 77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Public Education", sub-title "Schools", pro-
viding that Armistice Day each year shall be a full school
holiday.

CHAPTER 408.
(House Bill 397)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 39 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Fish and Fisheries",
sub-title "Crabs", said new section to be known as Section
99A and to follow immediately after Section 99 of said
Article, to permit the taking of crabs by certain devices.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Fish and Fisheries", sub-title "Crabs", said new section to be
known as Section 99A, to follow immediately after Section 99
of said Article, and to read as follows:

99A. It shall be lawful for any person or persons to take
or catch crabs by scrape, dip net and trot line in any of the
waters of the State and in no other manner or by any other
means, except that in Kent and Queen Anne's Counties soft
crabs may be taken by means of a hand-drawn net scrape.
Any person violating the provisions of this section shall;
upon conviction thereof, be fined not more than fifty dollars
($50. 00) for each such violation. The provisions of this Sec-
