(b) (1) Weekly Benefit Amount. An individual's "weekly
benefit amount" shall be the amount appearing in Column B
in the table in this sub-section on the line on which, in Column
A of such table, there appear the total wages paid to such
individual for insured work in that calendar quarter of his
base period in which such total wages were highest.

(b) (2) Weekly Benefit for Unemployment. Each eligible
individual who is unemployed in any week shall be paid with
respect to such week a benefit in an amount equal to his weekly
benefit amount less that part of the wages (if any) payable to
him with respect to such week which is in excess of $2. 00;
provided that such amount of benefits, if not a multiple of
$1. 00, shall be computed to the next higher multiple of fi. 00.
(c) Duration of Benefits. Any otherwise eligible individual
shall be entitled during any benefit year to a total amount of
benefits equal to whichever is the lesser of (1) twenty times
his weekly benefit amount, and (2) one-fourth of the wages
paid to him during his base period for insured work; provided
that such total amount of benefits, if not a multiple of $1. 00,
shall be computed to the next higher multiple of fi. 00. The
amount of benefits otherwise payable to any individual during
any benefit year may, in the discretion of the Board, be
decreased by an amount not greater than his weekly benefit
amount times the number of weeks for which under Sub-
section (a), (b), or (c) of Section 5 he is disqualified for
benefits in such benefit year.

(d) Benefits After Termination of Military Service.

(1) The term "military service" as used in this sub-section
means active service in the land or naval forces of the
United States, but the service of an individual in any
reserve component of the land or naval forces of the United
