SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing contained
in this Act shall be construed to affect the compensation of any
incumbent County Commissioner during the remainder of his
present term.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 296)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
3(a), 3(b), 3(c), 4, 5, 8, 9(d), 10(b), 11(g),. 11l(-h), 11(i),
11 (j), 12, 15(b), 16, 19(f), 19(g)(6), 19(h), 19(1) and
19 (n) of Article 95A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition); to repeal Sections 3(d), 6, 14, 18, 19(a),
19(g)(3) and 19(g)(4) of said Article and enact in lieu
thereof new Sections 3(d), 6, 14, 18 19(a), 19(g)(3) and
19(g) (4); to repeal Sections 7(c), 7(d), 9(e) and 19(r) of
said Article; and to add new Sections 16(e), 19(f) (7) and
19(g) (9) to said Article, amending the Unemployment Com-
pensation Law generally.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 3(a), 3(b), 3(c), 4, 5, 8, 9(d), 10(b),
11(g), 11(h), 11(i), 11(j), 12, 15(b), 16, 19(f), 19(g)(6),
19(h), 19(1) and 19(n) of Article 95A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition) be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments; that Sections 3(d), 6, 14,
18, 19(a), 19(g) (3) and 19(g) (4) of said Article be and they
are hereby repealed and new Sections 3(d), 6, 14, 18, 19(a),
19(g) (3) and 19(g) (4) enacted in lieu thereof; that Sections
7(c), 7(d), 9(e) and 19(r) of said Article be and they are
hereby repealed; that new Sections 16(e), 19(f) (7) and
19 (g) (9) be and they are hereby added to said Article, and all
to read as follows:

BENEFITS.

3. (a) Payment of Benefits. All benefits shall be payable
from the fund and shall be paid through employment offices,
in accordance with such regulations as the board may pre-
scribe.
