money upon or near any highway.

WHEREAS, State-wide law against gambling makes this
. sub-title unnecessary, therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 61 and 62 of Article 7 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Carroll County", sub-title "Gambling", be and they
are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.

Approved April 23, 1941.

CHAPTER 362.
(Senate Bill 394)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 167 to 170, inclusive, of Arti-
cle 15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Kent County", sub-title "Drovers",
said sections requiring drovers to have each sheep, hog
or cattle driven through Kent County marked with red
paint or tar on its forehead or back.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General 'Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 167 to 170, inclusive, of Article
15 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Kent County", sub-title "Drovers", be and
they are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1941.

Approved April 23, 1941.
