Being part of that tract of land which by deed dated Jan-
uary 25, 1913, and recorded among the Land Records of Balti-
more County in Liber W. P. O. No. 407 Folio No. 156 etc., was
conveyed from John J. Nelligan and Mary C. Nelligan, his
wife, to the State of Maryland.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public health and safety, and being passed
by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths of the mem-
bers elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assem-
bly, the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 320.
(House Bill 180)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Alcoholic Bever-
ages", said new section to be known as Section 47A and
to follow immediately after Section 47 of said Article, per-
mitting the sale of alcoholic beverages at counters and bars
on any day on which the sale of alcoholic beverages is per-
mitted by law, and to permit the Board of License Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County to permit the sale of
alcoholic beverages on any parking lot, picnic grounds,
terrace or building forming an integral part of the licensee's
premises in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh
and Eighth Districts of Anne Arundel County, and provid-
ing that any law or regulation conflicting therewith shall
be repealed as to the extent of such conflict.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", said new section to be known as
Section 47A and to follow immediately after Section 47 and
to read as follows:
47A. It shall be lawful to sell, vend, serve, deliver and/or
consume any alcoholic beverages permitted by law to be sold
in the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Seventh and Eighth
