ments", sub-title "Gaming", said new section to be known
as Section 302B, to follow immediately after Section 302A
of said Article as enacted by the 1941 Session of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, making it lawful to conduct or
operate the game of Bingo in Baltimore County for certain
purposes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
27 of the Annotated Code of. Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Crimes and Punishments", sub-title "Gaming", said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 302B, to follow immediately after
Section 302A, of said Article as enacted by the 1941 Session
of the General Assembly of Maryland, and to read as follows:

302B. Nothing in this sub-title shall be construed to make
it unlawful for any bona fide fraternal, religious, patriotic,
educational or charitable organizations or corporations, or
volunteer fire companies, to conduct or operate a game of Bingo
for the benefit of charity in Baltimore County, or in further-
ance of the purpose of such organization, corporations or vol-
unteer fire department.

It shall be unlawful, however, for any individual, co-part-
nership, corporation or group or organization, not legal resi-
dents of Baltimore County, to operate any game of Bingo in
Baltimore County for the benefit of any such local organiza-
tion, corporation or volunteer fire department, except that the
Maryland State Fair and Agricultural Society of Baltimore
County and the White Hall Farmers Club and Improvement
Association, may sell or lease the right or concession to any
person, co-partnership, firm, group, corporation or organiza-
tion, regardless of the residence of such purchaser or lessee,
to conduct or operate the game of Bingo at the yearly Fairs
held by them at Timonium and White Hall in Baltimore
County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.
