SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 317.
(House Bill 590)
AN ACT to provide for graduated salary increases for mem-
bers of the Prince George's County Police force for each
four years of service on said force after June 1, 1941.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That upon approval by the Police Commissioners, each
member of the Prince George's County Police force, including
the Superintendent, the Sergeant, the Corporals and the
officers appointed to such force, and also each clerk to the
Police force appointed as such, shall receive an increase of
one hundred and twenty dollars ($120. 00) per annum over
and above the salary provided by law, as provided in Chapter
50 of the Acts of 1937 or any Act amendatory or supple-
mentary thereto providing for additional positions on the
Prince George's County Police force and increasing the sal-
aries of members of such force, for the position on the Prince
George's County Police force to which he is appointed and
for the rank in which he is designated, for each four years of
continuous completed service which he shall serve on such
Police force after June 1, 1941.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.
