Section 455 of said Article, relating to certain county em-
ployees engaged in constructing or maintaining county roads
or bridges in Dorchester County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
10 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Dorchester County", sub-title "Roads", said new
section to be known as Section 455A, to follow immediately
after Section 455 of said Article and to read as follows:
455A. (1) Every county employee engaged in the construc-
tion or maintenance of county roads or bridges shall be under
the exclusive jurisdiction and control of the County Road
Engineer.
(2) Such employees shall receive not less than the hourly
wage rate paid to State employees engaged in similar work on
State Highways in Dorchester County.
(3) Each such employee who has worked under the County
Road Engineer for at least one year shall receive the same
vacation, with pay, at a time to be designated by said Engi-
neer, and shall also be entitled to the game sick leave, with
pay, in each year to which employees of the State Roads Com-
mission with the same or similar classification are entitled.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to add one new section to Article 101 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Workmen's
Compensation", sub-title "Miscellaneous", said new section
to be known as Section 79A, to follow immediately after
Section 79 of said Article, prohibiting the insurer from set-
ting up certain defenses in certain compensation cases.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
101 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Workmen's Compensation", sub-title "Miscellaneous", said
new section to be known as Section 79A, to follow immedi-
ately after Section 79 of said Article, and to read as follows:
