CHAPTER 28.
(House Bill 33)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 1
of Article 66A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Moving Pictures", further defining the word
"film".

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1 of Article 66A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Moving Pictures", be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

1. The word "film" as used in this Article shall be con-
strued to mean what is usually known as a motion picture film
and shall include any film shown with or by new devices of
any kind whatsoever, such as slot or coin machines, showing
motion pictures. The word "view" in this Article shall be con-
strued to mean what is usually known as a stereopticon view
or slide. The word "person" shall be construed to include an
association, copartnership or a corporation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.
