423G. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County are hereby authorized, empowered and directed, to
erect and maintain sign posts at the intersections of the
streets and roads of said District designating the names of
the said streets and roads, and shall erect and maintain at
suitable places on said roads and streets, signs prohibiting
the parking of vehicles on said streets and roads, (includ-
ing streets and roads in said District which are a part of
the State Roads System of Maryland. The County Com-
missioners of Anne Arundel County are hereby authorized
and directed to have a policy or policies of insurance writ-
ten, to insure the County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County and the property owners of said District against
any liability arising from or as a result of any injury or
damage to any person or property, resulting from any acci-
dent or mishap occurring on the said wharves or drains of
the District. For the purpose of providing funds for the
payment of the annual premium on such policy or policies
of insurance, and for the purpose of erecting and maintain-
ing the signs and signposts provided for herein the County
Commissioners of Anne Arundel County are authorized and
directed to levy a special tax upon the assessable property
in said District at such rate as shall be required to raise
funds for said purposes, said tax proceeds to be kept as a
separate fund, and any unexpended balance remaining in
said fund at the end of each year, shall be credited over to
the Beverley Beach Wharf Tax Fund, and shall become a
part thereof.

423H. The County Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County are hereby authorized and empowered to make
regulations, regulating or prohibiting the parking of ve-
hicles or the placing of obstructions, on or in any road,
street, wharf or drain in said District. Any person violat-
ing the provisions of any regulation so made shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined not less than $1. 00 and not more than $10. 00.

423-1. The Police and Sheriff of Anne Arundel County
and any Special Police appointed under the laws of the
State of Maryland for the purpose of maintaining law and
order within said District, are hereby authorized, empow-
ered, and directed to remove or have removed from the
streets, roads, wharves, walks and drains of said District,
any vehicle parked on or upon, or any other obstruction
unlawfully on or upon said streets, roads, walks, wharves,
and drains of said District, at the cost and at the risk of
the owners thereof, the cost of such removal shall be a lien
upon any such vehicle or other object so removed in ac-
