time to time for the conduct, government, and manage-
ment of the Park or Parks of Boonsboro as it may deem
necessary, right and proper. And said Park Commission
may employ workmen and policemen, whose duties shall
be prescribed by the said Commission, the expenses of
said workmen or employees, said improvements and main-
tenance of said Park or Parks to be paid by the Mayor
and Council of Boonsboro through the said Park Commis-
sion, and the tax to be levied as provided by Section 4 of
Chapter 56 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, for the Session of 1939. The said Park Commission
shall prior to the first day of January in each and every
year make a detailed report of all its receipts and expendi-
tures and proceedings during the year and also make at the
same time a full and detailed statement of the amount of
money necessary to pay the expenses incurred by said Com-
mission in the care, maintenance and improvements of the
said Park or Parks during the coming year so that the same
may be included in the regular annual levy made by the
Mayor and Council at the time of the making of the an-
nual levy of taxes by the said Mayor and Council and to
be included therein.

60C. Any person violating any of the rules and regula-
tions adopted by the said Park Commission shall upon con-
viction before a Justice of the Peace of Boonsboro, or any
other Justice of the Peace of Washington County, be liable
to a fine of not more than $50. 00 and costs for each of-
fense, and upon failure to pay said fine and costs shall be
committed to the Washington County Jail for a period of
not more than twenty days; and all such fines and costs
shall be paid to the Park Commission to be used exclu-
sively for the maintenance of said Park or Parks.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1941.
