missioner of Motor Vehicles, shall hereafter be known as
Motor Vehicle License Examiners, shall have the following
classifications and grades, and shall be paid the following
salaries:

The Supervising License Examiner, in the Examining
Division of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, shall be
known as Motor Vehicle Supervising License Examiner,
and shall be paid a salary of $2, 500. 00.

The three (3) Senior License Examiners, in the Examin-
ing Division of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, shall
be known as Motor Vehicle License Examiners, and shall
be paid a salary of $1, 815. 00 each.

The three (3) Junior License Examiners, in the Exam-
ining Division of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and
now assigned as Assistant Senior License Examiners, and
the one (1) Junior License Examiner in the Examining
Division of the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles and now
assigned to the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, shall be
known as Motor Vehicle Junior License Examiners and
shall be paid a salary of $1, 650. 00 each.
The eight remaining Junior License Examiners, in the
Examining Division of the Commissioner of Motor Ve-
hicles, shall be known as Motor Vehicle License Examiners
and shall be paid as follows:

After two (2) years' service.............................. $l, 500. 00 each

First two (2) years' service............................... 1, 380. 00 each

The date of original employment shall be the basis for
computing and determining the salaries of the Motor Ve-
hicle License Examiners.

All salaries as above set forth shall become effective as
of October 1st, 1941.

154B. The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles may ap-
point two (2) more Motor Vehicle Senior License Examin-
ers, making a total of five (5) Motor Vehicle Senior License
Examiners, and two (2) more Motor Vehicle Junior Li-
cense Examiners, making a total of six (6) Motor Vehicle
Junior License Examiners, all appointments to be from
within the classifications of Motor Vehicle License
Examiners.

154C. The duties of Motor Vehicle License Examiners
shall be to examine all applicants for licenses to operate
motor vehicles and to perform all duties necessary or inci-
dental thereto, and to continue to perform all those duties
incidental to their office before being classified as Motor
Vehicle License Examiners.
