CHAPTER 212,
(Senate Bill 62)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
166 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Ve-
hicles", sub-heading "Liability—When Operator and/or
Owner Required to Give Security For", relating to the
amount of property damage for which license shall be
revoked if same remains unsatisfied after final judg-
ment.

CHAPTER 213.
(Senate Bill 93)
AN ACT to add five new sections to Article 56 of the An-
notated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Li-
censes", sub-title "Registration of Motor Vehicles and
Operators", said new sections to be known as Sections
154A to 154E, inclusive, and to follow immediately after
Section 154 of said Article, for the purpose of providing
grades, classifications and salaries for motor vehicle
license examiners, prescribing the duties of such exam-
iners, and providing that such examiners are within the
provisions of the Merit System.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That five new sections be and they are hereby
added to Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Registration of
Motor Vehicles and Operators", said new sections to be
known as Sections 154A to 154E, inclusive, to follow im-
mediately after Section 154 of said Article, and to read
as follows:
154A. The following employees of the Commissioner of
Motor Vehicles, in the Examining Division of the Com-
