ing the date of their levy and shall bear interest from that
date at the rate of one-half of one per centum per month
or fraction thereof, provided that any taxpayer who shall
pay said County taxes on or before the thirty-first day of
May next following the date of their levy shall be entitled
to a deduction of two per centum of said taxes, and on all
payments of taxes duriig June and July to a deduction of
one per centum of said taxes.

On assessments made by the State Tax Commission, tax
payers shall be entitled to a deduction of two per centum
for the payment of said taxes within a period of thirty
days from the time the tax bill for such taxes is mailed by
the County Treasurer but, if such taxes be not paid within
said thirty days, such taxes shall bear interest at the rate
of one-half of one per centum per month, or fraction
thereof, from October 1st succeeding the day of the levy.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1st, 1941.

CHAPTER 195.

(Senate Bill 332)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
35 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1939 Edition), title "Elections", sub-title "Registra-
tion", providing for a general registration of voters in
Talbot County in the year 1942.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 35 of Article 33 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Elections", sub-
title "Registration", be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

35. In Talbot County a new general registration of all
the qualified voters of said county shall be made by the
boards of registry of said county in the year 1942.
Such new general registration shall be made in the same
way and under the same rules and provisions in all respects
as are in said Article 33 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Elections", sub-title "Registration", made for
the first general registration, so far as the same may be
applicable, and except as herein modified. Each Board of
