turnable before said Trial Magistrate, and perform such other
and further duties in connection with said Courts as may be
prescribed by said Trial Magistrate.

(b) The County Commissioners of Montgomery County'
are authorized to pay said additional deputy sheriffs appointed
pursuant to this section, out of the fees and fines collected
by said Trial Magistrates from the service of civil process
in their respective courts, the sum of $1,200.00 per annum,
payable in equal monthly instalments and, in addition, each
of the three aforesaid deputy sheriffs shall be paid by the
County Commissioners out of the fees and fines collected
aforesaid, an annual sum of $300.00 in equal monthly instal-
ments as compensation for transportation expenses in per-
forming their duties.

SEC. 2. And 'be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 19.41.

CHAPTER 915.
(House Bill 811)

AN ACT to add thirteen new sections to Article 3 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Baltimore County", sub-title "Weights and Measures", said
new sections to be known as Section 785, Section 786, Sec-
tion 787, Section 788, Section 789, Section 790, Section 791,
Section 792, Section 793, Section 794, Section 795, Section
795A and Section 795B, and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 784 of said Article, relating to the licensing of retail
coal dealers doing business in Baltimore County, providing
that such retail coal dealers shall be bonded, and establish-
ing certain regulations for the weighing of coal sold by such
dealers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That thirteen new sections be and they are hereby added
to Article 3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Baltimore County", sub-title "Weights
and Measures", said new sections to be known as Section 785,
Section 786, Section 787, Section 788, Section 789, Section 790,
Section 791, Section 792, Section 793, Section 794, Section
795, Section 795A and Section 795B, to follow immediately
after Section 784 of said Article, and to read as follows:

785. Whenever used in this sub-title:

(a) The term "Coal" shall mean and include anthracite,
semi-anthracite, bituminous or semi-bituminous coal, lignite
