191. To the bequest of $500.00 to the Christ English
Lutheran Church contained in the Last Will and Testament of
Emma Kahline, late of Baltimore City, deceased, said Will
being dated May 5th, 1939, and recorded in the office of the
Register of Wills of Baltimore City.
192. To the deed from the Trustees of the Jenkins' Memo-
rial Church of Anne Arundel County, being the three lots of
ground known and designated as Lots Nos. 21, 22 and 23, as
outlined on the plat of Jenkins' Manor, recorded in Plat Book
of Anne Arundel County, F. S. R. No. 1, folio 32, which were
conveyed by Jas. A. Jenkins, widower, to the Trustees of the
Jenkins' Memorial Church of Bar Harbor, Md.

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition—being Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "Sheriff", said new section
to be known as Section 1082A and to follow immediately
after Section 1032 of said Article, relating to the appoint-
ment of additional deputy sheriffs and to their duties and
compensation.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to the Code
of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition—
being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land), title "Montgomery' County", sub-title 'Sheriff", said
new section to be known as Section 1032A, to follow im-
mediately after Section 1032 of said Article, and to read
as follows:
1032A. (a) The Sheriff of Montgomery County is hereby
authorized and directed to appoint three deputy sheriffs for
said County, in addition to those provided for in Section
1032 of this Code. Each of the said additional deputy sheriffs
so appointed shall be assigned by the Sheriff to duty in one
of the Three Trial Magistrate Court of Montgomery County
and, when so appointed and assigned, said deputy sheriff shall
be under the direction and supervision of the Trial Magistrate
to whom he is assigned, and shall serve any civil process re-
