CHAPTER 860.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
112 of Article 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County", sub-
title "Crisfield", authorizing and empowering the Mayor
and Council of Crisfield, Somerset County, in its discre-
tion, to reconstruct the drawbridge across Somer's Cove
in the City of Crisfield, County of Somerset, at the point
where said drawbridge now stands or to build a new
drawbridge or stationary bridge across said Somer's
Cove at a point in said City to be designated by said
Mayor and Council of Crisfield.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That section 112 of Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Somerset County", sub-title "Crisfield", be and the same
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, so
as to read as follows:

112. The Mayor and Council of Crisfield, Somerset
County, is hereby authorized and empowered, in its discre-
tion, to reconstruct in a substantial manner the draw-
bridge as now located, between the main part of said
City of Crisfield and that part of said City known as
"Jersey", or to build a new drawbridge or stationary
bridge across Somers' Cove, between the main part of
said City of Crisfield and that part of said City known as
"Jersey", at some other point across said Somers' Cove, in
the discretion of said Mayor and Council of Crisfield, sub-
ject, however, to all provisions of the laws of the United
States regulating the construction of bridges over naviga-
ble waters of the United States.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
