an aggregate principal amount not to exceed One Million
Two Hundred Thousand Dollars, to be serviced by tolls
from said ferry, or from gasoline tax receipts, fixing
the terms and conditions of said bonds, and for their
sale, redemption and otherwise; and to repeal and re-
enact with amendments Section 242 of Article 56 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Licenses", sub-title "Gasoline Tax".

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108,
109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121
and 122 of Article 89B of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
sub-title "Chesapeake Bay Bridge Authority", be and the
same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That thirteen new
Sections be and the same are hereby added to Article 89B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), sub-
title "Revenue Bonds", said new sections to be known as
Sections 140A, 140B, 140C, 140D, WOE, 140F, 140G, 140H,
140-1, 140J, 140K, 140L and 140M, to follow immediately
after Section 140, and to read as follows:

140A. The State Roads Commission is hereby author-
ized and empowered, from funds provided under the au-
thority of this Act, to purchase from the Claiborne-Annap-
olis Ferry Company, all of that Company's right, title and
interest in and to the Annapolis and Romancoke Terminals,
the Matapeake Terminal (including a tract of approxi-
mately eighty acres of land, with improvements, at or
near the Terminal proper), the Claiborne Terminal, also
the M. S. "Governor Harry W. Nice" together with all
equipment, the M. S. "Governor Albert C. Ritchie"
together with all equipment, the M. S. "John M. Dennis"
together with all equipment, the S. S. "Harrington II" to-
gether with all equipment, and also docks, wharves, other
vessels, motor vehicles, furniture, equipment and supplies.
Title to all properties so acquired shall be taken in the
name of the State of Maryland.

140B. The Commission is hereby authorized to provide
by resolution for the issuance of revenue bonds for the
purpose of, and in an aggregate principal amount, not in
excess of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars, suf-
ficient for, paying (1) the cost of acquisition of the afore-
said ferry properties, (2) the expense of engraving, print-
ing, required advertising and other incidental outlays with
respect to the issuance of the said bonds and (3) refund
