Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Jus-
tices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magistrates System", re-
lating to the salaries of Trial Magistrates in Montgomery
County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That sub-section (Montgomery County), of Section 100
of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial Magis-
trates System", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments to read as follows:
100. (Montgomery County. ) There shall be three trial
magistrates each of whom shall receive an annual salary of
$2, 700. 00 from and after June 1st, 1941. One of said magis-
trates shall sit at Rockville and one at Silver Spring and one
at Bethesda. The magistrate at Silver Spring shall sit not
less than one day or part thereof in each week in Takoma
Park. The Sheriff of Montgomery County, Chief Deputy, and
all other deputies are hereby authorized, directed and required
to serve all civil process issued by said magistrates.
SEC. 2. And be it -further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition), being Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
'Montgomery County", sub-title "Roads", said new section
to be known as Section 855A and to follow immediately after
Section 855 of said Code, relating to the expenditure of cer-
tain funds and other revenue and to the disposition of the
Lateral Road Gasoline Tax Fund in Montgomery County
and to the authority of the County Commissioners to par-
ticipate in the cost of certain street and road improvements
in the Montgomery County Suburban District.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to the
Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edi-
tion), being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
