(House Bill 749)

AN ACT to provide for the acceptance of cash collateral by
Justices of the Peace in Prince George's County in lieu of
bond for the appearance of any person taken into custody
because of a violation of the provisions of any law for which
the maximum punishment provided does not exceed a fine
of 'one hundred dollars ($100), or for the violation of any
municipal ordinance, except violations of the Motor Vehicle
Laws.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 12 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Gar-
rett County", sub-title "County Commissioners", said new
section to be known as Section 83A and to follow imme-
diately after Section 83 of said Article, relating to the ap-
pointment of an attorney by the County Commissioners of
Garrett County to advise them in legal matters affecting
the County.
