1300 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 748

Chester County from and after January 1, 1941, for his at-
tendance before the Trial Magistrates' Courts of said County.
Such sum shall be paid in quarterly instalments on January
1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st in each and every
year and the County Commissioners shall levy annually a
sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400) for this purpose.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 748.
(House Bill 642)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, (Flack 1939), title "Alcoholic Bever-
ages", sub-title "Special Licenses", said new section to be
known as Section 10A, to follow immediately after Section
10 of said Article, providing for the licensing on racing days
only of horse racing establishments in Anne Arundel Coun-
ty, operating under authority of the Maryland Racing Com-
mission, to sell all alcoholic beverages.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Flack 1939),
title "Alcoholic Beverages", sub-title "Special Licenses", said
new section to be known as Section 10A, to follow immediate-
ly after Section 10 of said Article, and to read as follows:

10A. In Anne Arundel County the owner or owners of any
regularly licensed horse racing establishment, whether indi-
vidual, association of individuals, or a corporation, shall,
without further residential, voting or locative qualifications,
be entitled to procure a license for the sale of any and all
alcoholic beverages within the confines of its racing park in
said county, between the hours of eleven A. M. and seven P. M.
on those days on which races are actually run under the
authority of the Maryland Racing Commission and not other-
wise.

The cost for such license shall be $600. 00 each calendar
year, payable to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County, and shall entitle the holder to sell at one or-
more locations within its said park.
