Such licenses and the licensees thereunder shall be subject
to all laws rules and regulations applicable in Anne Arun-
del County to the sale of alcoholic beverages, not inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act.

SEC. 2, And be it further enacted, That all acts or parts
of acts, inconsistent with this Act, be and the same are hereby
repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 749.
(House Bill 889)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
1090 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery
County (1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County",
sub-title "State's Attorney", relating to the authority and
power of the State's Attorney for Montgomery County to
employ clerical assistance.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 1090 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "State's Attorney", be and the same is here-
by repealed and re-enacted, Avith amendments, so as to read
as follows:

1090. The State's Attorney for Montgomery County is
hereby authorized and empowered to appoint two clerks, at
a compensation of One Hundred and Twenty-five Dollars
($125. 00) per month each, to be paid by the County Commis-
sioners of Montgomery County, which said clerks shall per-
form such clerical work in the State's Attorney's Office and
such other work as they may be directed by the State's
Attorney.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941. '
