of Education may consider advisable and if the County Com-
missioners of Prince George's County concur in such changes,
or any of them, they shall by a resolution approve the same,
and thereupon such new items shall be substituted for the
items in Section 3 of this Act, which the said Boards desire
to abandon, and the Board of Education shall proceed with
these new items in the same manner and with the same powers
and restrictions as if the same had been originally mentioned
in Section 3 of this Act.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted. That this Act shall take
effect on June 1, 1941.

(House Bill 782)
AN ACT to add a new section to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edition—being Article
16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title
"Montgomery County", sub-title "Montgomery County Sub-
urban District", said new section to be known as Section
716A and to follow immediately after Section 716 of said
Article, relating to the expenditure of a part of the Mont-
gomery County share of the State income tax.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to the
€ode of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County (1939 Edi-
tion—being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Montgomery County", sub-title "Mont-
gomery County Suburban District", said new section to be
known as Section 716A, to follow immediately after Section
716 of said Article, and to read as follows:
716A. (a) One-fourth of the share of the State income tax
received by the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
pursuant to Section 258 of Article 81, on account of taxpayers
who reside in the County but are outside of any incorporated
city, town, village or special taxing area treated as such, shall
be expended by the County Commissioner elected from Com-
missioner District No. 4 in that portion of the Potomac Elec-
tion District and the Bethesda Election District lying within
the confines of the Montgomery County Suburban District, as
the same was created by Chapter 459 of the Acts of 1931 and
