ANCHORED GILL NETS

Wherever used, $3. 00 for the first 1, 000 feet, 50 for each
additional 1, 000 feet, or fraction thereof.

DRIFT GILL NETS

In Chesapeake Bay, Chincoteague, Sinepuxent, Isle of Wight
and Assawoman Bays and their tributaries, and in the Atlantic
Ocean within three miles of the Maryland shore, f 3. 00 for each
500 yards, or fraction thereof.

In the tributaries of Chesapeake Bay, $1. 00 for each 500
yards, or fraction thereof.

FYKE OR HOOP NETS (more than 40 yards in length)

Wherever used, f 1. 00 for each net.

All license fees collected by the Commission shall be paid
into the Treasury of the State, and credited to the Conserva-
tion Fund. Every licensee shall exhibit his license whenever
demanded by any duly authorized officer.

All license fees collected by the Conservation Commission
under the provisions of this Act shall be used to establish and
maintain a hatchery or hatcheries and rearing ponds for shad
and herring or any other species of fish selected by the Com-
mission at such place or places in this State as the Commis-
sion may, in its discretion, deem best.

63C. The Conservation Commission is authorized to revoke,
or suspend for periods of not less than ten days, any license
issued by it as aforesaid, after due hearing upon not less than
ten days' notice to the licensee, upon the following grounds:

(1) The making of any false statement in the application
for such license; (2) the conviction of the licensee or his
agents of any violation of the provisions of this Article; (3)
any violation of the regulations of the Conservation Commis-
sion; (4) failure to make the reports prescribed by law or by
the Conservation Commission pursuant to law.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any net dur-
ing the period within which his license is suspended or
revoked.

63D. Any license to operate pound nets, haul seines,
gill nets and fyke or hoop nets issued under this sub-
title may be transferred whenever the owner of the netsr
boats, gear and other equipment necessary for their operation,
or the personal representative of such owner, shall sell and
convey the same by bill of sale for a bona fide consideration
to any person who is eligible under the provisions of Section
27 of this Article. Such transfer shall be made only upon
surrender of the outstanding license and the execution of an
