SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

CHAPTER 94.
(House Bill 152)

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Wicomico County", sub-title "Salisbury — Water and
Sewers", authorizing the Mayor and Council of Salisbury
to establish a revolving fund of not more than twenty-five
per cent (25%) of the depreciation reserve of the Municipal
Water Department in order to finance property owners to
the extent of installing the minimum number of plumbing;
fixtures in residences or dwellings as provided for by the
Plumbing Code of the City of Salisbury, or any subsequent
amendments thereto, such section to be known as Section
336A of said Article, and to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 336.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title "Salisbury—
Water and Sewers", said new section to be known as Section
336A, to follow immediately after Section 336 of said Article
and to read as follows:

336A. For the purpose of effectuating the connection of
properties to the Municipal Water and Sewerage System in
the City of Salisbury, the Mayor and Council of Salisbury is
hereby. empowered to establish a revolving fund of not more
than 25 per cent of the Depreciation Reserve of the Municipal
Water Department in order to finance property owners to the
extent of installing the minimum number of plumbing fixtures
in residences or dwellings as provided for by the Plumbing
Code of the City of Salisbury or any subsequent amendments
thereof.

Should any owner of any property desire to install the
minimum number of plumbing fixtures as set forth above but
for financial or other reasons is unable to do so, or should
any property owner fail to connect to said water or sewerage
systems within sixty days after written notice is given to
the property owner or his agent, the Mayor and Council is
