other receipts of County funds; and providing further for
the repeal of all public general or public local laws incon-
sistent with this Act.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That in Prince George's County, notwithstanding the
provisions of any other law, one-half of the fines imposed by
and recognizances forfeited to the Circuit Court for Prince
George's County or the several Justices of the Peace at Large
for said County, designated as Trial Magistrates, other than
fines imposed and recognizances forfeited with relation to the
"Motor Vehicle Laws" the laws respecting "Wild Fowl—Birds
and Game" and "Fish and Fisheries", and unless directed to
be paid otherwise by the law imposing them and excepting
fines for the violation of ordinances of any incorporated
municipality of Prince George's County, but including, how-
ever, fines and forfeitures for offenses at common law, shall,
within thirty days from the date of collection thereof, be paid
to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County
to be expended under the direction of the Judge or Judges of
said Circuit Court for the augmentation of the library of said
Court; provided, however, that any sum so received by the said
Clerk of the Circuit Court in excess of two thousand dollars
($2, 000. 00) in any one year shall be paid over by said Clerk
to the Board of County Commissioners of Prince George's
County for disbursement by said County Commissioners as
other receipts of County funds.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts, whether public general or public local laws, whether
enacted prior to this session of the General Assembly or en-
acted at this session of the General Assembly, inconsistent
with the provisions of this Act are hereby repealed to the ex-
tent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And J)e it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1941.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title Alle-
gany County", sub-title "Sheriff", said new section to be
