CHAPTER 454.
(House Bill 633)

AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Worces-
ter County to sell certain wharf property in the town of
Snow Hill, Worcester County, Maryland, and to provide for
the disposition of the proceeds therefrom.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Worcester County,
be and they are hereby authorized to sell at public or private
sale all that piece or parcel of ground approximately eighteen
feet in width, situate in the town of Snow Hill, Worcester
County, Maryland, which lies between the intersection of
Bank and River Streets and the Pocomoke River; said parcel
of land adjoining the property of Shockley and Humphreys,
Incorporated, on the northeast and the property of The Wor-
cester Fertilizer Company on the southwest, and to convey
the said property to the purchaser or purchasers thereof.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the proceeds aris-
ing from the sale of the aforesaid property shall be paid to
the County Commissioners of Worcester County and by them
be applied to such indebtedness of Worcester County as they
may deem best, or to the general expenses of said County.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 28
of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1935 Sup-
plement), title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-title "Further
^Regulations in County Waters", relating to fishing in
Coxes' Creek in Anne Arundel County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 28. of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1935 Supplement), title "Fish and Fisheries", sub-
title "Further Regulations in County Waters", be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as
follows:
