28. Anne Arundel. (a) Pound nets or other similar devices
are prohibited at all times in the waters of South River, or in
any creek, cove or inlet thereof above Saunders Point on the
south side and Marsh Point on the north.
(b) All nets except gill nets and haul seines are prohibited
in any creek, cove, tributary or inlet of South River.
(c) All nets or equipment are prohibited during the months
of February, March and April in the head waters of South
River from a line drawn from Howards Point on the west
side of said river to Brier Bottom on the east side thereof,
and in the head waters of Beards Creek and in the head waters
of any of the creeks of South River for a distance of 400 yards
from the head thereof.
(d) It shall be unlawful to fish with nets, seines or other
contrivances or equipment of any kind except with rod, hook
and line in the waters of Coxes' Creek.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 31
of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, 1935 Sup-
plement, title "Fees of Officers", sub-title "Sheriffs", pro-
viding an additional fee for the Sheriff of Baltimore County
for serving writs of fieri facias.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 31 of Article 36 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, 1935 Supplement, title "Fees of Officers", sub-title
"Sheriffs", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted
with amendments to read as follows:
31. The sheriff shall have as poundage fees for levying an
execution at the rate of seven and a half per cent, on the first
twenty-six dollars and sixty-seven cents, and at the rate of
three per cent, on the residue, but if execution be laid on any
interest in lands only one-half of the poundage fees shall be
charged, and if laid upon lands and the lands be not sold by
the sheriff he shall charge only one-fourth of the poundage
fees aforesaid. Provided, however, that in addition to the
