is performed under the direction and supervision of a duly
licensed Master Electrician, but no such work, other than
minor electric repairs for the maintenance of established
plants, shall be performed excepting under such direction and
supervision of a duly licensed Master Electrician, and the
said licensed electrician shall be responsible for any and all
work so done under his direction and supervision. All work
installed under this sub-title shall be in accordance with the
National Electrical Code.
143LA. After June 1, 1939, no electric light or power com-
pany shall attach its power lines or electric meters to any
consumer's property within the borders of Calvert County
unless the building was wired before June 1, 1939, or the work
has been installed by a Master Electrician licensed under this
sub-title and until a temporary or permanent meter cut-in cer-
tificate has been issued by the Middle Department Rating
Association, Middle Division. Said department shall issue a
meter cut-in certificate in duplicate, one of said certificates
shall be sent to the power or electric company furnishing the
electricity for the consumer's property, and the other shall be
sent to the Board of Electrical Examiners and Supervisors.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1939.

AN ACT authorizing and directing the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to levy and collect a special tax for
the fiscal year of July 1, 1939 to July 1, 1940, on real prop-
erty situated in the third election precinct of the thirteenth
election district of said County and to spend the proceeds
for resurfacing certain streets and roads within said pre-
cinct.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Montgomery County
shall levy and collect for the fiscal year of July 1, 1939 to July
1, 1940, a special tax, which shall be in addition to all other
taxes authorized by law, of four cents (4¢) on each one hun-
dred dollars ($100. 00) in value of real property situated in
the third election precinct of the thirteenth election district of
